Warmly congratulating the service personnel and people of the DPRK on their V-Day, the letter said:

We pay high tribute to President Kim Il Sung, ever-victorious iron-willed commander who exploded the U.S. imperialists' myth of "mightiness" and to leader Kim Jong Il who defended socialism and destiny of the nation under the unfurled banner of Songun.

We also offer sincere regards to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who let the DPRK rapidly emerge as a nuclear weapons state and satellite manufacturer and launcher possessed of SLBM and led the test-launch of ICBM Hwasong-14 to success.

We extend invariable support and solidarity to the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and all agricultural workers of the DPRK who turned out in the struggle for putting an end to the U.S. imperialists' nuclear war threat, further demonstrating the independent dignity and indomitable spirit of Juche Korea and attaining the target of grains production.

The letter expressed belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the Uganda Farm and Agro-Based Workers' Union and the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea would grow stronger and the solidarity activities would become more brisk.
