Unfair Decision of S. Korean Court Denounced
|
|
Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the puppet Seoul Central District Court of south Korea gave a decision upon the culprits of the case of blacklisted persons of culture and arts. According to the decision, Kim Ki Chun, former presidential chief of staff of Chongwadae under the Park Geun Hye regime, and other culprits were sentenced to light punishment such as prison terms of three years to one year and six months. Meanwhile, Jo Yun Son, former minister of the Culture, Sports and Tourism, was sentenced to one year in prison but he was set free on the pretext of probation. This is an anti-historical act of acquitting the criminals who heinously challenged the democratic forces and an unpardonable insult to the mindset of candlelight demonstrators, Minju Joson Tuesday says in a commentary. The commentary goes on: The reality seriously tells the south Korean people once again that the puppet court is the one of evils to be removed as it imposed heavy penalties upon the people who did righteous acts for independence, democracy and reunification and showed leniency to the rascals who committed crimes against democracy and human rights. Severe punishment of history and miserable end await the traitors who opposed the mindset of people. Those of the puppet court should clearly see the angry people shouting "the court should give proper decision before another candlelight action" and "the popular masses will turn out in the drive for judicial reform." South Korean people from all walks of life will launch a more vigorous struggle to mete out a severe punishment to the Park Geun Hye group of traitors as they know well that if they allow the wrong decision, they will be deprived of the gains of the candlelight action and dark era where the fascist dictatorship forces dominate the people would come again. |
