Kim Hwang Ho, department director of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, told KCNA:

The "sanctions resolution", to all intents and purposes, is a flagrant infringement upon the DPRK's sovereignty as well as an open challenge to it.

At the bottom of injustice and double standard rampant in the present world are the U.S. and those countries which were offered "thanks" from the former as a reward for taking part in the conspiracy to invent the heinous "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK.

In the past 60-odd years, the DPRK has been taking due measures to strengthen its self-defensive nuclear deterrence in order to counter the policy of hostility and nuclear threat against it from the U.S. Terming these measures "a threat to international peace and security" is a gangster-like logic indicating that the rest of the world should either become U.S. colonies serving its interests or fall victim to its aggression.

The countries, that openly pursue their ambition to maintain permanent nuclear hegemony by conducting most of the nuclear tests in the world and launching ICBM whenever they please, are adopting illegal and unlawful "sanctions resolutions" to incriminate the DPRK's bolstering of self-defensive nuclear force. This constitutes the height of outrageous double standard.

We, the working class in the field of the metallurgical industry, would produce more steel with the spirit of self-reliance and self-development, full of determination to hammer the U.S. imperialists who are clinging to base means and methods.
