Present at the meeting were Minister Choe Pu Il, Director of the Political Bureau of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces Kang Phil Hun and officials and members of the Ministry of People's Security and people's security organs in the city of Pyongyang, servicepersons of the KPISF and employees.

The statement of the DPRK government was read out to be followed by speeches.

Noting that the U.S. framed up the "sanctions resolution" with dastards acting as voting machine without any principle, the speakers said this is no more than desperate efforts of those frightened at the might of the DPRK which rose to the high strategic position as a nuclear power of Juche and world-level military power.

They said that if the U.S. persists in extreme military adventure and sanctions and pressure, obsessed by anachronistic daydream, it would suffer a shameful defeat and final doom.

The army and people of the DPRK will counter the "sanctions" with retaliation and "confrontation" with do-or-die resistance for justice as the U.S. imperialists resort to all-round provocation in all fields of politics, economy and military affairs, they stressed.

They vowed to mercilessly wipe out the provocateurs making desperate efforts to stifle the socialist country and thus creditably discharge their mission and duty as the KPISF, the mercilessly striking force of the Supreme Commander.
