U.S. Should Acknowledge DPRK's Strategic Position: Nigerians
Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- The U.S. should acknowledge the changed strategic position of the DPRK and come out earlier for dropping its anachronistic hostile policy.

Damian Ogbonna, national chairman of the People's Progressive Party of Nigeria who is co-chairman of the International Preparatory Committee for Gathering 2017-Praise to the Great Persons of Mt Paektu and chairman of the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, said this in a statement on August 2.

He said:

The perfect success in the second test-launch of ICBM Hwasong-14 was an event specially recorded in world history. The Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people achieved this by consistently adhering to the line of simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of nuclear force, true to the leadership of respected HE Kim Jong Un who has carried forward the idea and cause of Songun pioneered by the preceding leaders.

The success in the test-fire which brought about an invincible treasured sword that can put an end to the decades-long moves of the U.S.-led hostile forces to stifle the DPRK is not only a victory of the Korean people but also a victory common to the world progressives.

We express full support and solidarity with the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their struggle for building a powerful socialist nation.

We also call on the world progressive peoples to actively support the just cause of the Korean people.
