State Commendations to Contributors to Construction of Ryomyong Street in DPRK

| Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- State commendations were awarded to officials, servicepersons and builders and officials in the supply units, working citizens and other helpers who made signal contributions to the construction of Ryomyong Street. Servicepersons and builders successfully built Ryomyong Street as a symbol of the great era of Kim Jong Un and an icon and standard of modern architectural street in a matter of nine months. Order of Kim Il Sung was conferred on Ri Pang Il, Mun Yong Song, So Kil Bok and Ryu Song Il, Order of Kim Jong Il on Jang Il Su, Ri Chol Su, O Yong Su, Kim Kwang Phil, Jong Yong Nam, Jang Yong Guk and Ri Yong Hwan, the title of Labor Hero on Kim Yong Ho, Kim Sung Bom and other 14 persons, Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize on 20 persons and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize on 20 persons. Honorary Titles went to 28 persons and orders and medals to 43 119 persons. A relevant decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK was promulgated on Thursday. |
