Present there were officials of local party, power and economic organs, working people's organizations, factories, enterprises, farms and universities and working people, youths and students.

The statement of the DPRK government was read out at the rallies, which was followed by speeches of vice-chairmen of the provincial party committees and the vice-chairman of the city party committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and representatives of workers, agricultural workers, intellectuals and youths.

The speakers fully supported the statement of the DPRK government which flatly rejected the "sanctions resolution" illegally fabricated by the U.S. and other hostile forces.

The hideous and brigandish act of the U.S. and other hostile forces that fabricated the "sanctions resolution" by abusing the UN while faulting the DPRK's ICBM test-fire is an intolerable hideous state-sponsored terrorism, they noted.

The situation in which the U.S. imperialists styling themselves the "world's only superpower" are working out only dirty criminal documents even by mobilizing riff-raffs clearly proves that the Workers' Party of Korea's independent line, the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts is quite right, the speakers said.

They stressed that as long as they are led by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, and there is single-minded unity more powerful than a nuclear weapon, the final victory will always belong to the DPRK no matter how many formidable enemies may come in attack.

Then followed mass demonstrations.
