DPRK's Access to Nukes Is Just Step for Self-Defense: Beninese Bodies

Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- The DPRK's access to nukes was the just measure for self-defense for defending the sovereignty of the country and its right to existence from the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the U.S. which has resorted to the extreme policy hostile to the DPRK and nuclear threats and blackmail to it for over half a century. The Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" and the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said this in a joint statement on Aug. 8. The statement went on: The U.S. had the UNSC cook up a "sanctions resolution" aimed at completely preventing the economic development of the DPRK and the improvement of the people's standard of living, describing the ICBM test-fire as a "threat to the international peace and security." We demand the U.S. properly understand the strategic position of the DPRK and stop the sanctions campaign against it. We are convinced that the Korean people who are united close behind Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un will register greater successes in the struggle for building a powerful socialist country and reunifying the country, holding fast to the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts, the everlasting banner of defending the peace. We express support for the struggle of the Korean people. |
