In Pochonbo, they placed bouquets at the statue of President Kim Il Sung standing on the side of Karim Stream and paid tribute to him.

They went round the Pochonbo Revolutionary Museum, the command post of the Battle of Pochonbo, the police sub-station, the sub-county office and other sites, after being briefed on the Pochonbo Revolutionary Battle Site.

The marchers went through the Spring Site in Poso-ri to the Tableland of Junghung bearing the records of the revolutionary activities of leader Kim Jong Il.

At the Rimyongsu Revolutionary Site, they grasped the feats of Kim Jong Il who pioneered the first study tour to Mt Paektu and transformed the revolutionary battle sites around Mt Paektu into the strong base for education in the revolutionary traditions.

That evening they had a meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas while billeting in the field.

On August 14, they visited Chongbong bivouacs where the statue of the President is placed and Konchang and Pegae Hill bivouacs and went round the historic relics such as the place where anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk boiled rice and the site of campfire and slogan-bearing trees.

After arriving in the Samjiyon County, they vowed to accelerate the victorious advance of socialism under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in front of the Samjiyon Grand Monument and the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the county.

At the Samjiyon Revolutionary Museum they looked round the photos of peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu and historic data on display. They also toured the Samthogong log cabin and the lodging quarters of visitors to the Samjiyon Revolutionary Battle Site.

That day, the deputies presented aid materials to those involved in the project to spruce up Samjiyon County and did labor with them.
