Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, Kim Su Gil, chairman of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, officials of the youth league and members of the KCU.

Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, made a report at the meeting and then followed speeches.

The reporter and speakers condemned the UN "sanctions resolution", cooked up by the U.S. imperialists and their followers, as the most barbarous crime aimed to prevent happy laughter and reading of the Korean schoolchildren from being heard.

They said that the despicable moves of the enemies, scared by the DPRK's ICBM test-launch, redoubles the KCU members' pride and faith in the great Paektusan nation's inexhaustible might and final victory and hardens their strong will to defend the country and annihilate the enemies.

They declared that if the U.S. imperialists bring clouds of a war to hang over Korea, the youngsters will take arms and participate in the sacred war of revenge to clearly show the mettle of the true sons and daughters of the socialist motherland and juvenile revolutionaries.
