Present at the rallies were officials of the local party, power, economic organs, working organizations, factories, enterprises, farms and universities, working people, youths and students.

Read out there was a statement of the DPRK government and speeches were made by vice-chairpersons of the provincial and city party committees and representatives of the workers, farmers, intellectuals and youths.

Speakers supported the DPRK government's statement categorically rejecting the "sanctions resolution" illegally cooked up by the U.S. and other hostile forces, finding fault with the DPRK's test-launch of ICBM.

They stressed that it is the immutable truth of the service personnel and people of the DPRK that as long as they are led by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the revolutionary cause of Juche is sure to triumph despite the enemies' desperate efforts and there is no one who block their way in the world.

They said that the U.S. and other hostile forces fabricated the UN "sanctions resolutions" several times while pulling up the DPRK's exercise of its just right so far but neither sanctions nor pressure could bring the latter to their knees.

They stressed that as long as they are led by Kim Jong Un and have the single-minded unity and spirit of self-development more powerful than nuclear weapons, the service personnel and people of the DPRK would firmly defend the country's security and win the final victory in the cause of socialism though any formidable enemies of the world invade the DPRK.

The rallies were followed by public procession.
