Rodong Sinmun says in an article Wednesday:

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, faithful successor to the intention of the great leaders, is building up mighty strength for the final victory in the showdown with the U.S. and the building of a powerful socialist nation.

His steadfast faith to put a definite end to the several decade-long U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and nuclear threat and blackmail rapidly increased the DPRK's capability for self-defense with the nuclear force as a pivot and brought about the miracles in the world which put the DPRK's overall national power and strategic position on the highest level.

The world people are unanimous in assessing that the DPRK has recorded the tradition of victory while standing in confrontation with the U.S., boasting of being the strongest in the world, thanks to the Juche idea and the Songun politics founded and enforced by the great leaders and the leadership of Kim Jong Un who is carrying forward them without an inch of deflection.

The army and people of the DPRK will further reinforce the nuclear treasure for self-defense, the lifeline of the nation that can not be bartered for anything and a national treasure of reunified Korea, holding aloft the banner of the new line of simultaneously developing the two fronts under the wise leadership of the respected Supreme Leader and dynamically advance for prosperity with the power, spirit and speed of Korea.
