S. Korean Regime Should Not Irritate Compatriots in North: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- The south Korean chief executive Tuesday made an "address marking August 15." There he talked nonsense, asserting that "big challenge at present" is an "issue of the north's nukes and missile." He was so reckless as to talk about "international isolation" and "dim future."

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Friday says:

What the chief executive of south Korea uttered is just a revelation of his sinister design to kick the buck for the escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula to the DPRK and carry out his treacherous "north policy" with the backing of outsiders.

If the regime of south Korea truly wants peace, it should not recklessly fault the DPRK but clearly understand what is going on now. It should refrain from irritating the DPRK, pursuant to the U.S. foolhardy military maneuvers.

Misjudgment and ill-advised acts are bound to lead to bitter failure and regret.

The regime will have to face the most disgraceful ruin together with the U.S. if it persists in dancing to the tune of the U.S. hysteric moves.

It should choose a right way, well aware of where it should stand for the nation and peace now that the power and strategic position of the DPRK have reached their climax.
