Rodong Sinmun Urges S. Korean Authorities to Discern Principal Enemy of Nation
|

Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- Recently Trump uttered that even though a war breaks out, it would be fought on the Korean peninsula and even though thousands die, that will be on the peninsula. Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an article says this reveals the U.S. sordid intention not to rule out the provocation of a nuclear war in order to realize its ambition for invasion of the DPRK, regardless of whether the south Koreans suffer or not. The situation urgently requires the south Koreans to see through the true nature of the U.S., principal enemy of the nation, and wage strenuous actions to drive the U.S. imperialists out of south Korea under the uplifted banner of independence against the U.S., the article notes, and goes on: For the past 7 decades of the U.S. military presence in south Korea, the south Koreans have suffered unbearable national contempt and insult and have been forced to live a bitter life under the jackboots of the aggressors. The U.S. is talking about "blood-sealed alliance" and importance of "alliance" whenever an opportunity presents itself, but it is just sugar-coated words to use the puppet forces as cheap cannon fodder for realizing its purpose of aggression. At present, the south Korean authorities are getting hell-bent on the moves to stifle the DPRK in hands with the U.S., being seized by sycophancy toward the U.S. and dependence on outsiders. This is an intolerable act of treachery little short of leaving the destiny of the south Koreans to the tender mercy of aggressors. They should clearly discern the principal enemy of the nation and part with the aggression-minded outsiders and make a bold decision to open the path to peace and reunification by pooling efforts with the fellow countrymen from the stand of By Our Nation Itself. |
