They included the Kimchon Citizens Measure Committee for Opposing THAAD Deployment and the Songju Emergency Measure Committee for Defending Holy Land of Won Buddhism.

Speakers at the rally denounced the regime and the Ministry of Defense for unilaterally pushing ahead with the deployment, urging them to halt the project and operation of THAAD and retract the plan for the introduction of additional launchers.

They called on the public to pool efforts to carry on their struggle until THAAD is withdrawn.
