S. Koreans Urge Regime to Repatriate DPRK Citizens
Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- The Measure Council for Ensuring Human Rights of DPRK Women Employees, composed of various south Korean bodies including the South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification and the Human Rights Center of the Council of Christian Churches, released a statement on August 15 demanding the repatriation of the DPRK women citizens, according to south Korean Yonhap News.

Deploring their plight of being forced to live under unstable armistice and lingering danger of war, the statement said:

The regime should make a decisive decision to open up a new era of national reconciliation, unity and reunification. To this end, it should thoroughly probe the truth behind the suspicious case of "defection from the north" masterminded by the Park Guen Hye-led forces meddling in the "state affairs" and the Intelligence Service, and repatriate the women citizens of the north, first of all.

The statement urged the regime to punish those responsible for the case and take a measure to prevent its reoccurrence.
