The message hoped that the government and people of Spain would soon eradicate the aftereffects of the terrorist attack, saying that the Korean people are sharing sadness with the Spanish people and it is the consistent stand of the DPRK government to oppose all forms of terrorism.

On the same day, DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho sent a similar message to Alfonso Dastis Quecedo, minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain.
