Japan Will Be Made to Pay Price for Its Crimes: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- The Japanese imperialist aggressors, looking for an opportunity to invade Korea while talking about "theory of the conquest of Korea" after "the 1868 Meiji Restoration", fabricated the "Unyo-maru" Incident in September 1875 and cooked up the brigandish "Kanghwa Island Treaty" the next year by threatening the Korean feudal government under the pretext. Early in the 20th century, they posed undisguised threats to Korea, faking up illegal treaties including the "Ulsa (1905) Five-point Treaty" and turning Korea into its complete colony.

Japan is the sworn enemy as it committed indelible crimes against the Korean people and left incurable wounds to them, says Rodong Sinmun in an article Sunday.

It is the legal, moral and international duty for Japan to make sincere apology and compensation for the past hideous crimes it committed against the Korean nation, the article notes, and goes on:

However, Japan, far from making sincere apology and compensation for its past crimes, is dreaming of revival of militarism while distorting its bloody history of aggression and openly revealing its ambition for reinvasion.

The army and people of the DPRK are closely watching the moves of the Japanese reactionaries adding new crimes to the old ones. The Korean people are keeping tabs on all the crimes committed by Japan in the past. They will certainly make Japan pay a price for them.
