Rodong Sinmun Urges U.S. to Properly Face up to Reality, Though Belatedly

Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- A litany of rhetoric is ringing out in the U.S. to the effect that its fixing the northern half of the Republic where its sovereignty is exercised as a theatre of "preventive war" may be an "ideal option" not harmful to the U.S. and that it will take the most resolute action.

Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Sunday terms this a vivid expression of the Yankee-style way of thinking keen on achieving its purpose of aggression.

It will be useless even though the U.S. ruling forces introduce nuclear strategic assets into the vicinity of the Korean peninsula, the commentary notes, and goes on:
