Some days ago, the team took the first place in the women's handball matches at the 54th national sports contest of juvenile sports schools, winning nine consecutive victories.

The team won the first victory at the national sports contest of juvenile sports schools in Juche 98 (2009).

Since then, it took the first place at the juvenile and junior contests every year. It also captured the juvenile championships from some years ago.

In those days, many reserves were produced and they are active in various sports teams.

The DPRK team proved successful in international handball tournaments last year and this year. Half of the players present there are graduators from this school.
