Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- Indian and Nigerian bodies on Aug. 8 made public statements denouncing the UNSC "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK. The All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association said in its statement that the "sanctions resolution" 2371 cooked up at the UNSC is a flagrant violation of the DPRK's sovereignty from A to Z as it is a product of the U.S. heinous moves to stifle the DPRK. It further said: The UN should stop inflicting pain on other countries at the prodding of the U.S. The world progressives must flatly reject the above-said "sanctions resolution". Sovereign states should no longer have their rights infringed upon by big powers. It is our duty to support the just cause of the Korean people reliably protecting peace and security on the Korean peninsula. We appeal to the world progressive people to struggle against the anti-DPRK "sanctions resolution" of the UNSC. The Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association strongly demanded the withdrawal of the illegal "resolution", terming it a frontal challenge and grave politically-motivated provocation to the DPRK, and the height of double standards. |
