They bagged two gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal on Aug. 21, in the wake of winning three gold medals and two silver medals in the events of weightlifting and diving on the first day of the games.

Kim Kuk Hyang and Kim Yun Hyang placed first at the 10 meter synchro platform diving, outnumbering their Russian and Australian rivals.

Ri Su Yon took the first place in the women's weightlifting 53kg with lift of 90kg in the snatch and 118kg in the jerk, 208kg in total.

Kim Myong Hyok placed second in the men's weightlifting 69kg by lifting 331kg in total and Kim Chung Sim third in the women's weightlifting 58kg with lift of 217 kg in total.
