Present there were scientists, technicians, teachers, graduate students and the three-revolution team members of units under the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Chongjin University of Mining and Metallurgy, Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering, Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex and Hungnam Fertilizer Complex.

They heard papers conducive to increasing the production of iron and steel, successfully putting the production processes on a modern basis, establishing the carbon one chemical industry and putting the production of chemical goods on a Juche basis.

There took place lectures on the theoretical basis of technological process of oxygen heat blast furnace and the trend of development of the carbon one chemistry and gasification industry at the sci-tech presentations.
