The first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that the Korean people could firmly safeguard the gains of socialism resolutely confronting the U.S. under the present harsh situation thanks to the Songun feats of Kim Jong Il.

The secretary in charge of ideology said that Kim Jong Il transformed the DPRK into a socialist country developing on its own efforts under any harsh circumstances and trained the Korean people as the heroic people making a contribution to the country's prosperity with sincere efforts.

The first secretary of the Vladivostok City Committee noted that the greatest feat performed by the greatest man Kim Jong Il before the country and its people is that he demonstrated the dignity of the DPRK before the world with his invincible Songun politics.

He lauded Kim Jong Il for developing the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung into the everlasting guiding idea in the era of independence, adding that Kim Jong Il made a great contribution to the development of the traditional Russia-DPRK friendly relations.
