S. Korean Organizations' Struggle against DPRK-targeted War Exercises Unabated

Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters for People's All-out Action and the People's Action for Peace against War in south Korea continued actions on August 25 protesting against the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises of the U.S. imperialists and the puppet warmongers, according to Jaju Sibo, south Korean internet newspaper. The organizations have staged actions in the vicinity of the U.S. embassy in Seoul since the first day of the exercises.

The protestors marched to the area near Kwanghwamun after passing the embassy, demonstrating their will against the U.S. and war.

Speakers at a rally held near the embassy denounced the joint military exercises based on OPLAN 5015 as provocative and bellicose drills.

They strongly demanded a stop to the exercises, saying that the people held the candlelight not only for the resignation of Park Geun Hye but for peace of the Korean peninsula.
