The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula said in a joint statement:

Due to the Ulji Freedom Guardian 17 joint military drills being staged by the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces, the danger of war is increasing on the Korean peninsula and it may spill over into a global nuclear war in a moment.

The drills bring to light the aggressive nature of the U.S. imperialists to realize their colonial rule over whole Korea and dominate the Asia-Pacific region to all intents and purposes.

We urge the U.S. to dismantle the "UN Command" and withdraw its aggression troops from south Korea.

We appeal to all friends supporting the DPRK to more firmly defend the DPRK together with the followers of the Juche idea, the Songun idea.

The Central Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation and the Regional Social Organization of Russia "Borozino" in their statements said the bellicose try of the U.S. to intimidate the DPRK by force of arms is no more than a pipedream.

The statements expressed belief that the army and people of the DPRK would resolutely foil the moves of the U.S. imperialists to provoke a new war and achieve the independent reunification of the country without fail under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
