The presentation brought together scientists, technicians, teachers and three-revolution team members of the Central Mining Research Institute of the State Academy of Sciences, the Komdok Mining Complex, the Tanchon Smeltery, the Tanchon Magnesia Factory, the Munphyong Smeltery and Kim Chaek University of Technology.

It was divided into mining industry, nonferrous metal and fireproof material panels. Presented to the presentation were more than 300 papers reflecting the scientific and technological successes and experience gained in putting mines and enterprises on a modern and IT basis and putting their production on a normal track.

There was also a lecture on recent trend of scientific and technical development in the mining industry and nonferrous metal field and the magnesia goods production field.
