Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Saturday runs an article telling about noble comradeship of leader Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un with the lapse of 17 years after unconverted long-term prisoners came to the embrace of the motherland. The article says: The unconverted long-term prisoners, who had been at the door of death being called as "breathing fossil", are now leading a blessed life in happiness and glory envied by all people. This is the exciting reality originated from noble comradeship of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu. It was the intention of Kim Jong Il to give the greatest honor and happiness to the unconverted long-term prisoners who devoted themselves to the country and the nation and national reunification with the invariable faith and sense of obligation to the party and the leader. Thanks to his warm love and sense of obligation, there took place a historic event in which 63 unconverted long-term prisoners came to the embrace of the motherland on September 2, Juche 89 (2000). His boundless love and benevolence served as an elixir of life for the unconverted long-term prisoners to give vitality of youth to their bodies hurt by the enemies. Kim Jong Il saw to it that remains of the unconverted long-term prisoners who passed away were buried in the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery so that their life can be always remembered by the country and posterity. Unconverted long-term prisoners are dedicating themselves to the patriotic cause, although they are at advanced ages, under the loving care of Kim Jong Un who is putting his heart and soul into the work for glorifying their lives with the same love as that shown by Kim Jong Il. |
