Inhabitants in Songju County and Kimchon City held a press conference that day to declare the period of people's emergency action against the additional THAAD deployment.

At the conference, they stressed that they would set the first period of emergency action from the day to Sept 6.

An appeal adopted there said that failure to check THAAD would drive south Korea as a whole into war crisis.

After the press conference, there were a rally of members of various civic organizations and inhabitants.

The ralliers declared that they would check the additional THAAD deployment at any cost.
