Rodong Sinmun in an article Monday says what matters is that the south Korean authorities are justifying the campaign to deploy THAAD as one "for building essential counteraction capabilities" to cope with the "nuclear and missile threats from the north".

The article goes on:

THAAD is not capable of deterring the merciless strike by the Juche weapons of the army and people of the DPRK who are fully determined to reduce to ashes the strongholds of aggression and destroy the provocateurs at a single strike.

It is as foolish an act as trying to evade the thunderbolt with a small gourd on the head to work hard to deter the DPRK's ballistic rockets, ultra-precision and powerful, with THAAD.

The south Korean authorities will have to pay dearly for their making no scruple of introducing THAAD into south Korea to do harm to the fellow countrymen in the north with the backing of foreign force.

They would be well advised to properly understand the prevailing situation. If they continue to run amuck with useless THAAD, counting on the U.S., they would meet their miserable doom.
