3rd National Education and Science Seminar Opens

Pyongyang, September 4 (KCNA) -- The 3rd National Education and Science Seminar opened Monday with due ceremony at Kim Hyong Jik University of Education to mark the 40th anniversary of the publication of President Kim Il Sung's work "Theses on Socialist Education".

It was attended by officials, teachers and researchers from more than 120 units across the country including the Education Commission, the Education Institute, Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang Secondary School No. 1 and Sariwon Secondary School No. 1.

The seminar is divided into the panel of educational ideology and strategy, the one of theory of education science and four panels of applied education science. It will hear over 460 papers.
