The work is an encyclopedia for developing the socialist education as it contains the President's rare ideo-theoretical wisdom, high sense of responsibility for the future of the country and the nation and love for posterity, the editorial says, adding:

The theses give comprehensive and scientific exposition of issues arising in developing the socialist education, including the main principle of the socialist pedagogy and the principles to be adhered to in educational work, educational contents and method.

Thanks to the publication of the theses, the main guidelines for training independent and creative revolutionary talents were provided and the DPRK could dynamically advance, hewing an untrodden path of developing the socialist education.

Since the publication of the theses, schools at all levels were increased, well-regulated primary and middle schooling, higher educational system and study-while-working educational system were set up and a system for education of talents established so that enough conditions were provided for all the people to learn. Juche character was firmly established in education and the educational contents, forms and methods fundamentally improved in conformity with the party policies and the requirements of the era.

The forty years since the publication of the theses is a proud history in which spectacular progress has been made in the Juche-oriented education and the advantages and vitality of the socialist educational system in the country fully demonstrated thanks to the idea of prioritizing education and leadership of the peerlessly great persons.
