Voluntary Teachers Welcomed
Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held at the Central Youth Hall on Tuesday to congratulate the teachers who volunteered to work at branch schools on islands and schools in forefront line and mountainous areas.

Present there were Choe Thae Bok, vice-chairman of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, officials concerned, officials in the field of education, teachers who volunteered to work at branch schools on islands and schools in forefront line and mountainous areas and teachers and students of universities and other schools in the city.

Choe made a speech about the gifts sent to the voluntary teachers by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The gifts reflect the Supreme Leader's wishes to see the volunteers invariably keep their pledge to the Party and the country and train the rising generations into reliable heirs to prosperous Korea, Choe said.

Party and state commendations were conferred on exemplary teachers at the meeting.

Then, congratulatory speeches were made before resolution speeches by volunteers.

The speakers expressed the strong will to devote all their wisdom and energy to the education of rising generations so as to train them into reliable pillars of prosperous Korea faithful to the Supreme Leader.
