Arriving in Pochonbo, they laid bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung and paid tribute to him.

They went round various places such as the Pochonbo Revolutionary Museum, the command post of the Battle of Pochonbo, fire station and other parts.

They toured the Spring Site in Poso-ri, Junghung Plateau Monument and Rimyongsu Revolutionary Site, etc.

They vowed to display the might of ideological campaign in the general advance for the building of a socialist power before the statue of leader Kim Jong Il in Samjiyon County.

Before climbing up Mt Paektu, they visited the Samjiyon Revolutionary Museum and the Samtogong log cabin where Kim Jong Il spent a night together with the members of the tour group on June 9, Juche 45 (1956).

They reached the birthplace of Kim Jong Il in the Paektusan Secret Camp after touring Soyonji Peak, Kanbaeksan and Mudubong Bivouacs. They were briefed on the poem "Shining Star", written by Kim Il Sung to mark Kim Jong Il's birth anniversary, before the monument inscribed with it and looked round the secret camp.

During the study tour, they visited Chongbong, Konchang and Mupho Bivouacs, the Sinsadong Revolutionary Battle Site, the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Musan Area and the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station.

And they conducted various political and cultural activities including meetings to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas, a contest of singing revolutionary songs in chorus, quick writing contests under the theme of the revolutionary tradition, and sports games.

They held a meeting to vow their pledge before the Samjiyon Grand Monument.
