U.S. Ambition for Dominating World Is Anachronistic: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Recently, the U.S. announced its plan to deploy a new radar system in Belau. It claims it will increase the capacity of Belau's maritime law enforcement and offer the U.S. bigger air monitoring capacity.

The radar's range can cover a vast area including Spratly Islands.

Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Thursday terms this a revelation of the U.S. invariable wild ambition to dominate the world by securing unchallenged military supremacy over its potential rivals.

It says:

The U.S. calculates that it can easily bring the potential rivals under its control and lord it over the world when it secures an absolute military edge.

The Asia-Pacific region has turned into the world's biggest hot spot, where a fierce big powers' playing of chicken is going on, due to the U.S. foolhardy arms buildup to get an absolute military edge.

To preserve peace and security in the Asia-Pacific region, notably on the Korean peninsula situated in Northeast Asia, has become a very important international matter.

The DPRK decided to have access to nuclear deterrent for self-defence and has bolstered it in every way to tackle the U.S. and its vassal forces' reckless nuclear threats. It was once again proved that this option was entirely right.

The U.S. wild ambition for dominating the world against the trend of the times is an anachronistic one.

The U.S. should keep in mind that military edge is not its monopoly, and drop the stupid try.
