Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- Myanmar and Peruvian personages issued statements on September 1 and 2 ahead of the 69th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Tha Win, secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar, said:

The DPRK was founded on September 9, 1948 under the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung.

President Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il made great efforts to hand down a reunified country to the posterity, regarding the national reunification as the greatest patriotic work, and undying contribution to the cause of global independence by expanding and developing the country's external relations.

The Korean people have become convinced of their future, through the whole course of the Korean revolution that has emerged victorious under the guidance of their great leaders and through the practice of recent years in which the DPRK has further displayed its dignity and might as a politico-ideological and military power under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Tin Tun, director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, stressed that Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are the peerlessly elder statesmen who performed immortal feats for the country and the people with their profound ideas and theories, distinguished leadership ability and energetic revolutionary practices and excellent and tested leaders who pioneered and glorified the modern history by leading the Korean revolution always to victory under the banner of independence.

As there is HE Kim Jong Un who leads the cause of building a prosperous and powerful country by inheriting the idea and cause of the great leaders, the socialist cause of Korea is making dynamic advance without vacillation even under the imperialists' persistent obstructive moves, he said.

The director of the Peruvian newspaper Accion Nacionalista praised the history of the DPRK which has always emerged victorious under the guidance of the great leaders through generations.
