The Third Fleet of the navy staged maneuvers in league with ground and air forces and maritime police in the South Sea of Korea on Wednesday.

Submarines, escort and patrol warships, helicopters, fighter jets and army troops were involved in the maneuvers to stage drills like rapid movement, anti-air and anti-ship strike and interception operation.

The marine corps staged a drill simulating the occupation of an island from Tuesday to Thursday with huge forces including all troops of the 6th sailors brigade, copters, landing armored cars, tanks and artillery pieces.
