DPRK's Bolstering up Nuclear Deterrent Is Just: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- The DPRK's beefing up its nuclear force is a step for self-defense to thoroughly defend the country's sovereignty and nation's right to existence from the nuclear war threats by the U.S. and its followers and reliably ensure peace on the Korean peninsula and the security in the region, and no one can take issue with it, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says in a commentary, adding:

The DPRK had access to nuclear weapons justly in order to defend the country's sovereignty and the nation's destiny and ensure peace on the Korean peninsula and in the region.

Even after the DPRK had access to nukes, the U.S. nuclear war drills did not stop, but rather became more frantic.

In particular, the Trump administration's policy hostile to the DPRK has driven the situation of the peninsula into an alarming phase beyond control.

The U.S. brigandish theory is that it can let us remain alive if we quit nuclear and obey them, but it can't tolerate us if we hold fast to nuclear and maintain independence. That's why such theory will never work on us.

Gone are the days never to return when the U.S used to pose threats to the DPRK unilaterally with nukes.

Very just is the DPRK's stand that no matter what others may say, as long as the U.S. persists in its hostile policy, the former will continue to take steps to beef up its nuclear force to protect the country's sovereignty and the nation's dignity.

The U.S. had better properly acknowledge the entity of Juche Korea, nuclear power worthy of the name, which has had access to A-bomb, H-bomb and even ICBM, and repeal its anachronistic ambition to stifle the DPRK.
