Rodong Sinmun Slams S. Korean Authorities for Resorting to Confrontation with Compatriots

Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- As soon as the DPRK's ICBM-ready H-bomb test was reported, the south Korean chief executive convened a "meeting of the National Security Council", where he asserted that "this is the most serious challenge" and called for a "proposal for powerful counteraction". Meanwhile, he phoned Trump and Abe one after another, letting out a spate of rhetoric that the "hardest pressure and sanctions should be put on the north" and "practical counteraction to deeply affect the north is needed" and begging for increasing the degree of slapping sanctions and pressure upon the DPRK.

Rodong Sinmun Sunday in a commentary slams this as treacherous acts challenging the great event to be specially recorded in the nation's history spanning five-thousand years and an unpardonable provocation aimed at doing harm to the DPRK at any cost in collusion with outside forces.

It is ridiculous for the south Korean puppet forces to trumpet about the "strong punishment", being unaware of their poor plight as the U.S. colonial stooges.

The army and people of the DPRK are following with indignation every action of escalating the confrontation sought by the south Korean puppet forces who dare challenge the DPRK while acting as a shock brigade of the U.S. in its moves to stifle the DPRK.

If the south Korean authorities pull up the DPRK's steps for self-defense and continuously resort to the confrontation with compatriots, they would meet stern judgment of history.
