Present there were officials of local party and power organs, working people's organizations, factories and enterprises, farms and universities, men and officers of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, working citizens of all social standings, youths and students.

The speakers at the rallies described the detonation of thermonuclear weapon ahead of the 69th birthday of the DPRK as a great event that gives the army and the people redoubled faith and courage.

They stressed it is a precious fruition of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's courage and pluck and unremitting patriotic devotion as well as of the do-or-die fighting spirit of the defense scientists boundlessly loyal to the Party's cause.

It is a great victory of the WPK's line of simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of nuclear force and a historic victory of all the Korean people who threw in their lot and shared the idea and breath with the Party, they said.

The participants in the rallies expressed their resolve to more strikingly display the might of Juche nuclear power by speeding up the grand advance of self-reliance.
