The assembly discussed on the way to overcome the effect of climate change on human health and the issues for providing overall medical service by 2030 and stamping out tuberculosis worldwide.

During the assembly, the DPRK minister of Public Health met the director of the Regional Office for Southeast Asia, the health minister of Sri Lanka and other heads of delegations of different countries to discuss on the issues for boosting cooperation in the field of health.

Health ministers of different countries appreciated the fact that the DPRK has invariably enforced popular health policies despite the escalated sanctions, pressure and blockade of outside forces.
