On display at the exhibition were more than 1,000 varieties of experimental apparatuses, 500-odd educational aids, over 2,000 multimedia programs and simulation experiment and practice programs and some 3,000 kinds of educational books.

Among them were comprehensive experiment and practice device for integrated production system and experimental apparatuses for space engineering technology presented by Kim Il Sung University, mini CNC milling machine for education by Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering and fundus disease identifier by Medical College of Phyongbuk University and research achievements made by factory colleges.

Units in the field of general education also exhibited IT-based experimental apparatuses and educational aids.

Kindergartens in South Hwanghae and North Phyongan provinces displayed various teaching aids for education in traffic safety and basic education in music.

This year is a year of science and education in the DPRK.
