Foreigners Praise DPRK as Independent Power
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries between August 26 and September 4 to mark the 69th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

They included seminars, book and photo exhibitions and film shows in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan.

Mostafa Jamal Haider, secretary general of the Bangladesh Jatiya Party, Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, and Sheikh Rafiqul Islam Bablu, chairman of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea, said that the DPRK, which has consistently adhered to the principle of independence in politics, self-support in the economy and self-reliance in national defence, is demonstrating its dignity as power of independence in the international arena.

W. A. Duminduwardane, chairman of the Sri Lanka Society for Self-Reliance Studies, noted that the DPRK has consistently aspired to the building of a socialist state centered on the popular masses and enforced all sorts of popular policies, setting the improvement of people's livelihood as the supreme principle of the party and state's activities.

Vipin Gupta, chairman of the Juche Philosophy Study Committee of India, stated that the DPRK has developed into a people's country further thriving under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Berkat Ullah, chairman of the Pakistani Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea, stressed that Kim Jong Un turned the DPRK into a nuclear power of Juche which any formidable enemy dare not provoke.
