Under the deep trust and loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea, the youth league is demonstrating its strong organizing ability and unity.

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un made public a historic letter "Young People, Be Vanguard Fighters Who Are Unfailingly Faithful to the Party's Revolutionary Cause of Songun" on September 18, Juche 103 (2014), which marked a milestone in making the youth league organizations and young people always advance straight ahead, following the Party.

After the publication of the letter, the spirit of Paektusan hero youth and legendary tales about heroic youth were created.

A number of youths were awarded the title of Labor Hero, the Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize and the Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize and many units were honored with the Young Vanguard Model Primary Committee and the Young Vanguard Model Primary Organization and the Songun Youth Torch Prize.

During the 70-day and 200-day campaigns last year, many young people contributed to the construction of more than a hundred projects and over 80,000 young people overfulfilled their yearly national economic plans.

In the all-people general offensive toward the Conference of Mallima Frontrunners this year, tens of youth shock brigades in the coal industrial sector carried out their yearly and first half-yearly plans till May. They are becoming the vanguard and shock brigade in building a socialist power.

After the 2nd National Meeting of Young Frontrunners in Noble Traits held in May 2015, an increasing number of youths have done admirable deeds of devoting themselves to the society, collective and comrades and volunteering to work at the difficult and consuming fields.

Today, the young Korean people are fully displaying their wisdom and pluck in the noteworthy struggle for glorifying the great era of Kim Jong Un.
