Attending it were Chairman Kim Chil Song and members of the Confederation and other Koreans in Russia.

Speakers there referred to the historic significance of the birth of the DPRK, warmly congratulating its 69th birthday.

They praised the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

They stressed that the recent eye-opening events in the DPRK served as an important occasion that fully demonstrated before the world the matchless pluck of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the invincible might of the Korean people single-mindedly united in the transparent spirit of defending socialism.

And they extended full support and solidarity to the people in the homeland resolutely struggling against the sanctions and nuclear war moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
