On display there were more than 2 370 inventions of 280-odd kinds presented by the provincial, city and county associations of angling fans.

The associations of angling fans in Kangwon Province and other coastal provinces exhibited tackles effective in catching gizzard shad, codfish, squid, mackerel, flatfish and other sea fishes.

Among exhibits which drew attention of visitors were an umbrella-shaped hat presented by South Hamgyong Province and an automatic tool for jerking hook by Nampho City.

Ri Myong Won, section chief of the Korean Association of Angling Fans, told KCNA that all the exhibits showed the wisdom and efforts of fans, adding that the exhibition came to be a good occasion in exchanging experience and knacks.
