Meetings and Korean book, photo, stamp and craftwork exhibitions took place in Mexico and Russia and friendship meetings in Romania and Syria.

On display at the venues of the events were photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were their works, and books, photos and stamps introducing the DPRK and craftworks associated with creative talents of the Korean people.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico said Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK and turned it into a socialist country independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence and that Kim Jong Il pursued the unique Songun politics to firmly protect the dignity and sovereignty of the country despite all challenges of the imperialists.

The chairman of the Regional Social Organization of Russia "Borozino" said that the Korean people, united close around their leader, are making world-startling miracles such as perfect success of H-bomb test under the persistent sanctions and pressures by the U.S. and its vassal forces.

The secretary general of the Romania-Korea Friendship Association denounced the "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK cooked up by the UNSC under the control of the U.S. and strongly demanded the U.S. withdraw its forces for aggression from the Korean peninsula.

The secretary general of the People's Assembly of Syria stressed that all the successes of the Korean people greatly encourage the Syrian people's struggle against the common enemy.
