The book contains 80 works including talks, speeches and concluding speeches made by leader Kim Jong Il in the period from November Juche 61 (1972) to March Juche 62 (1973).

The works show the greatness in idea and leadership of Kim Jong Il who saw to it that President Kim Il Sung was held in high esteem and the Party's monolithic ideological system thoroughly established and who brought about a new turning phase in all fields of socialist construction including politics, economy and culture.

They clarify the essence of the work to establish the Party's monolithic guidance system and the tasks for doing so in the field of literature and arts and other principled matters arising in developing our literature and arts to the Juche-oriented ones both in name and in reality.

The collection has encyclopedic works giving perfect answers to the theoretical and practical problems in the revolution and construction including the issue of steadily improving the educational method and attaching primary attention to the study of students at Kim Il Sung University and the issue of developing the trade union work as intended by the President.
