Sanctions Will Change Nothing: Minju Joson
Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- A commentary of Minju Joson Tuesday censures the fabrication of "sanctions resolution" 2375 against the DPRK by the U.S. and its vassal forces as the silly act of those bereft of mental composure and ability to discern what catastrophic consequences their criminal acts will entail.

It goes on:

Truly disgusting and what's more ridiculous is the malicious behavior of the U.S. staking its fate on the threadbare farce of the sanctions even though it is quite well aware that the sanctions will bring it nothing.

The U.S. racket of sanctions and pressure on the DPRK has only hardened the will of the Korean army and people to annihilate the enemies and resulted in making them open up the way to a charge with the sledge-hammer of self-reliance.

Clear is the aim sought by the U.S. in clinging to the racket of sanctions against the DPRK.

It is to stamp out the DPRK's sovereignty and rights to existence and development and thus realize at any cost the ambition for bringing down it.

There is no other option for the DPRK as the U.S. is working with bloodshot eyes to undermine the ideology of the DPRK and bring down its social system by brandishing the sanctions stick.

The army and people of the DPRK will as in the past hold tightly the treasured sword of the simultaneous development of the two fronts and dash toward the final victory and foil the U.S. and other hostile forces' anti-DPRK moves.

The U.S. sanctions on the DPRK will prove futile and it will be just like sweeping the sea with broom.
