S. Korean Organizations Slam Puppet Regime for THAAD Deployment

| Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Organizations of south Korea, including the Songju Emergency Measure Committee for Defending Holy Land of Won Buddhism, reportedly held a rally in Sosong-ri, Chojon-myon, Songju County, North Kyongsang Province on Sept. 16 to denounce the authorities for introduction of THAAD. The speakers at the rally charged that the regime, which appeared with the mind-set of candlelight holders, enforced the additional THAAD deployment, giving in to the U.S. demand and defying the demand of the people for peace. THAAD is for the interests of the U.S. and Japan, they said, declaring that they would never stop the struggle to get it withdrawn. Earlier, a measure committee of Songju inhabitants in Sosong-ri for withdrawal of THAAD was formed on Sept. 15. |
